Nowadays hacking social networking accounts and regaining it is very common. But this time the shock was that the prey was none other than the mighty superstar Rajanikanth. No one could believe that Rajanikanth`s official Twitter account is hacked.

The incident happened yesterday when Rajanikanth suddenly started following celebrities including Kamal Hassan, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kabali director Ranjith, Kabali`s producer Kalai Puli S. Thannu and publicist Riaz Ahmed.

Everything was okay until then, but what came next bewildered everyone. The tweet "Rajinikanth "HitToKill" followed it. It was re-tweeted by fans who were eagerly waiting for such a tweet from superstar. It became an instant hit in social media and trolls started coming in.

Later it came to light that a techie was behind it and the account was hacked. A couple of hours later, Aishwarya Dhanush, the daughter of Rajanikanth confirmed it and tweeted the account has been retrieved.

The earlier mentioned stars were unfollowed after retrieving the account.

Rajanikanth became a member in Twitter on February 2013. He has now a fan following of over three million people. The maestro only tweeted 29 times and this proves how seldom he tweets.
